CALLING OLDER SINGERS AND MUSICIANS FOR A NEW TV SHOW!
Are you over 65?
Are you still ready to give it all you've got?
Do you have dreams of performing to an audience?
The BBC is forming bands of talented musicians who just happen to be in their 60s, 70s, 80s and even 90s.
Don't worry what type of music you specialise in, we want to hear from every genre and instrument! We want singers, guitarists, keyboards, drums and everything in between to apply. The aim? To bring them together and wow an audience at an event later this summer.
You’ll need to be available from July to September as we form bands, get them practicing and provide all the help they need to be ready to go on on-stage and perform.
No problem if it's been awhile, age is just a number and there's no expiration date on talent!
We welcome applications from former pros but also talented amateurs who’ve made it no further than belting out a number down the local pub.
We strongly encourage applicants from ethnic minorities, the LGBTQ+ community and other minority groups.
The production will be carried out in line with UK Government covid protocols.
Any information which you give us will be processed in accordance with our privacy notice, a copy of which is available on request.
